Had a very nice lunch with Lisa Keating today – www.lkbespokebridal.co.uk – we quaffed a couple of glasses of wine and got stuck into the olives and homemade bread – (delicious lunchtime food at The George in Backwell Farleigh www.thegeorgeatbackwell.com) – we poured over my copy of Savage Beauty by Alexander McQueen – such amazing wondrous designs – got so carried away we forgot the time and had to make a mad dash for our next appointments …. plus crazy windy rainy weather on drive home…..

We are pleased to announce that we have developed a delicious chocolate gluten free cake.  After trying several recipes, we have made our own gluten free cake on the basis of our original chocolate cake,  substituting the wheat flour with gluten free flour.  Simple!  And it’s extremely delicious.

We had a lovely day at Kilver Court yesterday – the sun was shining (although there was snow on the nearby Mendips).  Beautiful secret gardens – really worth a visit.  

We will be exhibiting our Chocolate Wedding Cakes at Kilver Court Wedding Fair,  Shepton Mallet, (BA4 5NF)  this coming Sunday 

The Fair will be open from 11am through to 3pm.

Up early this morning to be greeted by a very cold wind and chilly grey skies – warmed up with a cup of tea and some hot buttered toast.   Loaded my car up with lots of delicious chocolate treats and four big chocolate wedding cakes – cranked the car up and charged up the hill to The Clifton Pavilions for the Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair – in all it’s glory…
It was a seriously busy day – so many lovely people braved the cold, coming along to enjoy all the delectable goodies on display, plus lots of lively entertainment!
Big thank you to Ali from Bristol Vintage for all the months of hard work and commitment – this is definitely the best wedding show in town – and I’m already to book in again for next year! 🙂

Looking forward to tomorrow’s Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair at Bristol Zoo’s Pavilion – so many fabulous exhibitors – this will be our third time attending – we always have the best day – looking forward to seeing Lisa from LKBespoke Corsets, Ali from Bristol Vintage, Kirsten from The Little Wedding Helper, Amanda from Bridezillas, Claire from The Wilde Bunch, Rachel from Rachel Goodchild Designs, Fiona from Beehive Brides, The Marionettes, Miss Jacqui Jones, and the fabulous Jo Swan singing! And plenty more lovely people there to tempt you with their wares –  Yeay!    

All my cakes are ready, delicious chocolate truffles made, chocolate shoes boxed and looking good, plus some special chocolate treats for brides and grooms – xxxxx Hope to see you there xxx Lizzie
